Education & Outreach Portfolio Committee

Composition:  A committee of ten members, including the Executive Director and Managing Director.

Charge: Oversees AWM programs involving education at all levels and programs primarily focused on outreach to the community, including to young people and K-12 students and to other organizations; Helps recruit volunteers to represent the AWM at the National Math Festival, at the USASEF, and at other similar events;  Monitors and reviews existing programs and their funding sources; Vets suggestions for new programs, and makes recommendations to the Executive Committee about existing and proposed programs.
