COMMITTEE DETAILS

Policy & Advocacy Committee

Composition: This committee consists of five to seven members with staggered terms, one of whom is the Government Advocacy Committee Chair; the Executive Director serves ex officio.  The chair will be a member of the AWM Executive Committee, except in extenuating circumstances.

Charge: Oversight of AWM’s activities and policy development in the area of public affairs, including statements on behalf of AWM. All policy statements or white papers must be approved by the Executive Committee.
