Research Collaboration Conferences for Women (RCCW) Committee
Composition: This committee currently has four members on three year term appointments.
Charge: Facilitate the creation of new RCCWs to be held at the Math Institutes. (1) create list of deadlines for applying for workshops at the Institutes, (2) identify women as potential organizers of an RCCW and encourage them to apply, (3) provide information and help with developing and submitting a proposal for an RCCW; this includes reviewing proposals before they are submitted, (4) keep in touch with the people who submit applications for an RCCW and report the outcome of the application to the Project Oversight Team, (5) advertise the process for organizing an RCCW and post guidelines on the ADVANCE website, and lastly, our goal is to help establish 2 to 3 RCCWs per year.
