The speaker will discuss the context of her career and time as a member of the AWM Executive Committee and present her view of the likely challenges AA women mathematicians are presently facing now and in the future. The speaker will use our current pandemic and political crises to ask if we have more wholistic and less individualistic responsibilities as mathematical citizens. The purpose of the remarks is not to present an answer but instead, initiate inquiry and discussion.
