Nonlocal PDE Models for traffic flow*

Abstract: We review some recent results on PDE models for traffic flow, in particular those where the flux function is nonlocal and contains an integral term. We present results on traveling waves, the existence and uniqueness of solutions, the estimates on the total variation bound and entropy conditions. In particular, we discuss the convergence of the nonlocal to local limit.
