Official Journal of the AWM
La Matematica is an international peer-reviewed journal featuring high-quality research from all areas of the mathematical sciences. It is dedicated to publishing research papers describing novel mathematical ideas and tools, survey articles on current trends that appeal to a wide range of readers, short communications and reviews. La Matematica seeks to encourage innovation, engagement and interdisciplinary research collaboration. As the flagship journal of the Association for Women in Mathematics, our goal is to support the flourishing of all mathematicians by adopting equitable practices in STEM publishing.
AWM Newsletter
This bi-monthly publication contains informative articles, book reviews, and announcements of upcoming events of interest, as well as job announcements from industry, government, and academic organizations.
We offer advertising opportunities both in the newsletter and on this site.
Research Volumes

Notable Women in Math Playing Cards
2021 marks the 50th anniversary of the Association for Women in Mathematics. Women have been contributing to the field of mathematics for far longer—from research to education, pure mathematics to applied mathematics, academia to industry, historical times to the modern day, women have distinguished themselves in advancing the field of mathematics. These cards are but a small way to acknowledge the untold achievements of these women—their legacies have been silent for far too long.

Ads for positions available can be online in the AWM JobBoard, or in the bi-monthly AWM Newsletter. Ads for programs in mathematical sciences and opportunities of interest to AWM membership and other appropriate subjects appear in the AWM newsletter, both in print and online.
