We are an international network of women analysts, whose aim is to establish effective collaboration groups, develop new interdisciplinary research activities, train junior mathematicians, increase visibility and professional connections of its members, offer an avenue for informed career development pertinent to women in analysis, and create a database of information and professional opportunities relevant to women in this mathematical field.

WoAN 2 at BIRS! May 11 – 16, 2025.
This research collaborative workshop is the second structural effort made by the Women in Analysis Research Network to engage women junior mathematicians in this broad area in carefully designed, cutting edge research projects. The main goal is to further develop WoAN as a structured international network of women analysts as a mean of: establishing effective collaboration groups, developing new interdisciplinary research activities, training of junior mathematicians, increasing visibility and professional connections of participants, offering an avenue for informed career development pertinent to women in analysis, and creating a database of information and professional opportunities relevant to women in this mathematical field.

Applications are sought for two summer schools in harmonic analysis that will take place in July 2024: the first is on oscillatory integrals, and the second is on maximal operators. These will take place in Bonn, in a beautiful historic lecture hall at the Hausdorff Center for Mathematics.
Please encourage interested graduate students and postdocs to apply by February 23, 2024. One should apply to the (one) summer school that interests one the most, and there will be a chance (on the application) to indicate that one is also interested in the other one (if so). While organizers are not able to provide travel funding to many participants, they can accept participants without funding (up to the capacity of the lecture hall).
